As long as the ‘concept’ was right, Brendan Fraser would be interested in a fourth The Mummy film. Variety spoke with the actor about his upcoming film, The Whale, and he admitted he’d be open to revisiting the films that launched his career.

According to a 2019 article, Universal opted not to move forward with a fourth film involving the O’Connells facing off against Aztec mummies in South America with Antonio Banderas as the villain instead. This canned fourth installment of the bonkers series was the subject of a petition last year so fingers crossed it happens.
