According to reports, Sony plans to bring Andrew Garfield back as Spider-Man in The Amazing Spider-Man 3 following the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home. With the re-release of No Way Home, the rumors once again took off. In response to huge fan demand, the studios may have finally considered a threequel to the 2012 movie series. Garfield has continuously demanded that The Amazing Spider-Man return since his last appearance as Spider-Man in No Way Home.
It has also been reported that the studio has reached a deal with the actor. The new deal would see Andrew Garfield appear as Spider-Man in several upcoming films. In addition to bringing back the American actor, the studio might focus on bringing back the audience as well.
