‘Jurassic World Dominion’, the much-anticipated third installment in the Jurassic World franchise, will be released in a few months. The story will pick up where ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ left off. “Jurassic World” serves as the conclusion to the Jurassic World saga, and it is the sixth installment in the Jurassic Park franchise.
Jurassic World Dominion already has a trailer with the caption “the epic conclusion of the Jurassic era”. Dinosaurs run free in human civilization in the trailer. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are doing their best to deal with the dinos, while Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum return to the series to help them. There is enough footage in the trailer to grasp the storyline.
During the trailer, Dern says, “Humans and dinosaurs cannot coexist. We created an ecological disaster.” This is a poignant observation that should have been obvious five movies ago. We don’t just lack dominion over nature; we’re subordinate to it,” Goldblum says. You can watch the first five minutes of Jurassic World Dominion below.
Colin Trevorrow, the movie’s director, previously stated that Jurassic World 3 will take place four years after Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
Everything in my mind has always been pretty present-day, said the filmmaker.
“Battle at Big Rock takes place about a year or so after the Fallen Kingdom came out in 2019 and the T-Rex has just been living in the Sierra Nevada forest where they escaped to…It’s huge; it’s a whole section of California. And so she’s been living there; they’ve been trying to catch her for a long time…So this is about four years later when the movie comes out in 2022,” Trevorrow explained.
Jurassic World: Dominion is set 65 million years back in time during the Cretaceous period, tracing the history of Jurassic Park’s famous T-Rex. Dinosaur fans will be delighted with the movie.
There will be seven new dinosaurs in Jurassic World 3 that have never been seen in any of the franchise’s previous films. Giganotosaurus, Dreadnoughtus, Quetzalcoatulus, Oviraptor, Nasutoceratops, Iguanodon, and MorusIntrepidus are the species.
Cast members who return from 2018’s film include Sam Neill (Dr. Alan Grant), Laura Dern (Dr. Ellie Sattler), and Jeff Goldblum (Dr. Ian Malcolm). Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are also returning for ‘Jurassic World: Dominion.’ They’ve been leading the franchise since the 2015 originals.
In addition, Isabella Sermon will reprise her role as Maisie Lockwood, along with Justice Smith as Franklin Webb, and Daniella Pineda as Dr. Zia Rodriguez. Omar Sy, Jake Johnson, Mamoudou Athie, Scott Haze, DichenLachman, Campbell Scott, and De Wanda Wise will also return.
