Charlotte, a mother-to-be, collapses when she learns of the unexpected death of her boyfriend, Ben, in a car accident. In the morning she wakes up in Ben’s family home, a decaying old manor house in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by his overbearing mother, Margaret, and his controlling stepson, Thomas.
