Since the release of Iron Man in 2008, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has taken the world by storm. Every one of these superheroes has a story to tell, and we have seen them fight evil alone over the years. However, when it comes to who is the strongest, it can be difficult to decide; fortunately, we have dug through the research and have determined these are the seven Strongest Avengers.
A man, a myth, a legend. Iron Man began it all (at least for the MCU). Tony’s suit grants him superhuman strength, speed, durability, agility, reflexes, senses, and supersonic flight. It can also project missiles and regenerate. Tony’s suit makes him indestructible, and the best part is that he made it himself. With Ant-Man’s discovery of the quantum realm, Tony develops time travel. After the Snap, there would be no hope without Tony Stark. Many people consider him to be the most powerful of all the Avengers, which is a fair assumption. After all, he was the one to defeat the big bad. Some heroes, however, can give him a run for his money due to their sheer power.
6. Vision
Developed by Tony Stark, Vision is a walking computer with a wealth of knowledge and multiple superhuman abilities. The computer can solve any problem in a matter of seconds. Though Tony comes close to being the better of the two, it’s hard to compete with a walking computer. Vision is able to shoot energy beams straight from his head using the mind stone, making him practically indestructible… unless, of course, someone like Thanos comes along and pulls the stone out.
Even if Dr. Strange isn’t everyone’s favorite Avenger, his power cannot be denied. He has the ability to change time and space at will. The abilities he has include flight, teleportation, astral projection, and so much more. He has one of the strongest battles against Thanos in Endgame than any other Avenger. Strange knew that there was only one way for the Avengers to win, so he set them on this path, even though the snap was necessary. Without Dr. Strange, the Avengers may not have been able to defeat Thanos.
Since Drax’s only power was brute strength, we put The Hulk last, but he has a lot more to offer! To begin with, he is a LOT stronger than Drax, has a fast healing factor, and can go without water or sleep if he needs to. Bruce Banner is the guy behind the big green guy. Bruce is one of the smartest Avengers and eventually becomes one with the Hulk. It took guts for Banner to fight without Hulk in Infinity War. It’s safe to say The Avengers wouldn’t have the same power without The Hulk’s ability to smash anything in his path and take any hit.
Yes, Thor is a literal god. What else is there to say? Thor takes on the full power of the sun in Infinity War. It’s THE SUN, folks. Thor doesn’t appear to live to tell the tale, but he does! After all, he’s a god! Oh…and did we mention he is immortal and can control lightning too? It is undeniable that The God of Thunder is the strongest of the original Avenger group, even if he is not everyone’s favorite.
2. Captain Marvel
There will be many of you wondering why Captain Marvel isn’t first on this list, and we understand! In fact, Kevin Feige has stated that Captain Marvel is the strongest of the Avengers, and if we were to look at the comics, she would definitely be the strongest. As a superhero, she has the usual enhanced skills, but she also has a “seventh sense” that surpasses Spider-Man’s sixth sense. As a result, she is physically stronger than all the Avengers and Thanos, as shown when Thanos punches her and she does not budge. What went wrong? Well, we’re looking at the abilities exhibited in the MCU, and Captain Marvel didn’t have the chance to show off all her abilities. As a result, many fans were disappointed as there was a lot of build-up for her character, only for her to be flung back into the sky from whence she came.
Scarlet Witch is the strongest Avenger. It must be said loud and clear! Her telekinesis allows her to move anything (and we mean anything) with the wave of her hand. She demonstrated the most power of any of the Avengers in her fight with Thanos in the MCU. The sword of Thanos which was able to cut through Captain America’s shield is broken by her. Then she puts Thanos in a position to call for backup, something he hadn’t done yet and knew would kill many of his own troops. Her power is magical. When she is first introduced, she can warp reality and put everyone in a dream-like state. What’s her greatest strength? She’s still discovering it. While she has shown so much power, most of it is still hidden within her. She has so much to offer and we can’t wait to see more of her!
