On behalf of HBO Max, we would like to invite you to check out the trailer ofHarry Potter Return to Hogwarts, a reunion special dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Harry Potter film franchise.
It will air on Sky and streaming service Now in the UK on New Year’s Day, and in the program, the Harry Potter cast members, including Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint, will reunite with filmmaker Chris Colombus in order to discuss and revisit magical scenes and memories from the film series.
The trailer features clips that show clips of cast members returning to classic locations from the series, such as Platform 9 3/4 and Hogwarts’ Great Hall. The star of the film, Daniel Radcliffe, who starred as the titular boy wizard, says in the teaser video: “What scared me most was the implication that we had lost what was most meaningful to us.”.
There’s just something so joyful about seeing everyone and being like ‘It wasn’t like that’.” Later on, he adds: “I wouldn’t be the person I am without the support of everyone here.”
She later adds: “When times get hard, there is something about Harry Potter that makes life richer.” Watson, who played Hermione Granger, also says: “It feels like it hasn’t passed, yet so much time has passed.”
Grint, who played Ron Weasley, says: “I think this is the perfect time to sit down with everyone and tell old stories.” As the trio embrace in the Gryffindor common room, Grint adds: “It’s a strong bond that we’ll always have.”
Helena Bonham (who played Bellatrix Lestrange), Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid), Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort), Gary Oldman (Sirius Black), Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) and Bonnie Wright (Ginnie Weasley) will also be appearing in the reunion special.
Carter, in the trailer for the movie, reminisces that one of her highlights was when she had to pretend to be Hermione, who was pretending to be Bellatrix. Fiennes also reveals in the trailer that the children of his sister encouraged him to take on the role of Voldemort.
