In honor of Bruce Willis’ 68th birthday, his family has gathered around him to wish him a very happy one. As his wife Emma, ex-wife Demi Moore, and their children kicked off the classic song, the Die Hard star appeared to be in good spirits.
As they neared the end, he even encouraged them to sing louder. Emma brought him a birthday cake and let him blow out the candles. Demi posted a video of the sweet moment on Instagram and wrote: “Happy birthday, BW! I’m so glad we got to celebrate you today.
“Thank you to everyone for the love and warm wishes — we all feel them.”
Bruce’s first birthday since being diagnosed with dementia has come around. He was diagnosed with aphasia last March, a disorder that affects communication. The Willis family was shocked to learn last month that the 68-year-old also had frontotemporal dementia (FTD).
She reflected on how difficult things have been since the diagnosis was made public in a video she posted to mark her husband’s 68th birthday.
