In our opinion, Timothee Chalamet has stepped into his most challenging role yet, and it appears Hollywood has taken a daring, unique and original swing by giving a beloved franchise that has already been given an underwhelming remake a prequel… because that’s what the people have been waiting for, the riots in the streets.
Timmy Chalamet has answered the call to find out what young Wonka was like. The Spider Verse will get another branch with Spider-Man’s Tom Holland.
Timothée Chalamet Set To Play Young Willy Wonka In Origin Story Film
“Young Willy Wonka and his adventures prior to opening the world’s most famous chocolate factory” will be the subject of the movie. Chalamet has signed on for the role, according to a new report by Deadline. Timmy as Wonka is being directed by Paul King using a screenplay written with Simon Farnaby; previous versions of the script were written by Simon Rich, Simon Stephenson, Jeff Nathanson, and Steven Levenson. Under his Heyday Films banner, David Heyman will produce alongside Luke Kelly, and Michael Siegel will executive produce.
A surprising number of fans took to twitter to voice their displeasure at beating this horse, but we think who can take a sunrise better? Can you sprinkle dew on it? Cover it with chocolate and a miracle or two? That’s the Chalamet way! He’s not responsible for Hollywood’s predictability; it’s just the way things are.
