‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ has begun filming in Oklahoma
This film was directed by the man himself, Marty Scorsese, based on the best selling book by David Grann. The film is set in the 1920s and depicts the murders of members of the oil-rich Osage nation, a string of violent crimes which became known as The Reign of Terror due to the brutality of the crimes.
Scorsese had this to say
“To be able to tell the story of these events on the land where they took place is incredibly important and essential for allowing us to portray a faithful depiction of the time and people that took place. As a team, we are very excited to begin working with our local cast and crew to bring this story to life on screen and immortalize a period in American history that should not be forgotten.”
