Here is some great news for those of you who loved Zack Snyder’s ‘Army Of The Dead’ movie as the director has today announced (via Twitter) that a prequel will be arriving on Netflix later this year, and Let’s Talk Movies has the first images.
The first images of Army of Thieves, show our favorite German safecracker played by Matia schwi, named Achtung. According to reports, the movie won’t feature zombies and will be directed and produced by Matia.

In a new picture released by the DEA, Deter poses with his new crewmates, and together, this group of thieves will attempt to break into safes that are theoretically impossible to break into. In another image, Deter is seen to be crushed between the enormous bodies of Con and Cohen.

Last but not least, here is a snapshot of the four thieves inside a surveillance van. In other words, if these images are any indication, Army of Thieves seems more like a prequel that will focus on the heists without the undead.
