We have finally arrived at the release date of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Certainly, this latest look at Tom Holland’s Peter Parker and the trouble he now faces is massive. Check out THE Spider-Man: No Way Home Trailer below.

Almost as though you have to know what happened in the previous trailer to follow this one (and, if we’re honest, Marvel knows everyone watching has), the new trailer finds Peter dealing with the effects of a botched spell to hide his identity from the world after J. Jameson (a returning JK Simmons) exposed Spider-Man’s identity, marking him as the Public Enemy Number One.

The result is more multiverse fun in the MCU, plus a bunch of Spider-Man enemies from the Sam Raimi Spider-Man and Marc Webb Amazing Spider-Man eras. In addition to Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus, we also see more of Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, Jamie Foxx as Electro, and Lizard and Sandman (despite the IMDB listing them, it’s still unclear if Rhys Ifans or Thomas Haden Church are doing performance capture). It’s clear we could be seeing a Sinister Six before the end of this movie, given that Michael Keaton’s Vulture is still out there (even if he is behind bars). There has been no sign of either previous Spidey, but speculation will continue.

This promo is much darker than the previous one, and the central concept depicted here, in which Peter disagrees with Benedict Cumberbatch’s Dr. Strange about how to deal with these “visitors” from another universe, leans towards more sombre material than Jon Watts’ previous renditions of Spider-Man. There’s still room for fun – Peter, MJ, and Ned (Jacob Batalon) giggling at Doc Ock’s full name, and a good gag around the word “please” – and some big action stakes. Plus, what’s going on at the end? It looks like something different from the villains in the rest of the trailer.
