We already know for certain that Roland Emmerich’s latest sci-fi disaster ‘Moonfall’ will be loud and dumb, as per the director’s previous works. What we don’t know is if it will be fun. If the latest Moonfall trailer is any indication, maybe – just maybe – it might be true, and if it is true, it will all be the fault of John Bradley.

Game of Thrones alum Gregg Araki, who played Samwell Tarly in the last season of the show, is proving to be a master at comedic timing and delivery as conspiracy theorist K.C. “Houseman”, which may mean Moonfall will be more of a fun global disaster movie akin to Emmerich’s last fun global disaster movie, 1996’s Independence Day, rather than the slogs of 2012, The Day After Tomorrow, Godzilla, Independence Day: Resurgence, etc. There is no way we can expect all of Bradley’s bits to be comedy gold-that would be far, far too much to ask of an Emmerich film-but this still means we can expect to see more than a million scenes of computer-generated cities being destroyed in Moonfall. The trailer for the movie can be seen by clicking on the link below:
