Ghostface is back as ‘Scream 2022’ Drops Terrifying First Trailer

As shown in the first trailer for Scream 2022, the movie that reunites original stars and introduces new ones in the year 2022, Ghostface the killer is back.

Directors Matthew Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the team behind Ready or Not, are behind the upcoming horror film Scream. Among the stars are Neve Campbell, David Arquette, and Courteney Cox, who participated in Wes Craven’s original Scream 25 years ago and reprised their roles in multiple sequels. Among the new cast members are Jack Quaid, Melissa Barrera, and Jenna Ortega.

Scream 2022 deconstructed the tropes of the horror genre for Craven, who would later go on to direct three additional instalments of the series, the most recent of which was 2011’s Scream 4. Craven passed away in 2015 after a long illness.
