We here at Let’s Talk Movies are looking forward to the summer, which brings back fond memories of the past. With the heat of the sun, cinemas (he says cautiously) should be open with some lovely air conditioning, a big box of popcorn and a nice Tango ice blast. Here are the most exciting summer blockbusters, if you are as excited as we are.

Cruella – May 28th

Cruella is set during the punk rock revolution in 1970s London.
A clever and creative girl named Estella, determined to make a name for herself in the fashion industry. She befriends a pair of young thieves who appreciate her appetite for mischief, and together they get by on the streets of London.

She catches the eye of the Baroness von Hellman one day due to her flair for fashion legend who is devastatingly chic and terrifyingly haute. She is portrayed by two-time Oscar winner Emma Thompson. But their relationship sets in motion a series of events and revelations that will cause Estella to embrace her wickedness and become the raucous, fashionable, and revenge-minded Cruella.

A Quiet Place Part II – June 4th

After the tragic events at home, the Abbott family must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their struggle for survival in silence. Having to venture into the unknown, they quickly learn that the creatures hunting by sound are not the only dangers that await them beyond the sand path.
