The official trailer for the upcoming Friends reunion just dropped and it has sent fans into a state of whirlwind!
This trailer gives us a look at what’s to expect on the 27th of May to see who is going to participate and perhaps the promise of waterworks, (… I mean we welled up watching this trailer) We see the cast relive some of the best moments of the show, telling stories about behind the scenes, and perhaps it allows us a peak at the secret of being the most watched show for the last three decades. Our very own James Corden will be the host of the event. I wonder if he has already asked them to do Carpool Karaoke?

I think it’s safe to say the fact that Fresh Prince and Friends are doing a reunion has set a trend, especially with Kaley Cuoco saying recently that she’d be into a similar reunion of The Big Bang Theory at some point in the future. In terms of the idea of milking pure nostalgia for as much as it is worth, it isn’t new, but HBO Max seems to be making a new business model out of it, with a Harry Potter retrospective also being recently announced for the streaming service.
