Tom Hardy reprises his role as Venom, the lethal protector.
Sony has released the first look at the follow up to the film that was released last year. There is a possibility that Tom Hardy’s anti-hero will face off against Woody Harrelson’s Cletus Kasady, who later becomes the symbiote villain known as Carnage, who was briefly introduced at the end of the first Venom movie.
Carnage, a crazed serial killer, survives a lethal injection in prison, which appears to awaken the symbiote inside of him and transforms him into the animal. Tom Hardy, who plays Eddie Brock, who has made some peace with his alter-ego Venom, battles it out in a massive symbiote showdown opposite him.
