Johnny Depp To Step Down From His Role As Grindelwald

Warner Bros has asked Johnny Depp to step down from his role as Grindelwald in the Fantastic Beasts franchise.

While the intention had always been for Depp to play the role through the rest of the series, this changed amid accusations leveled against the actor.

But the man who will take over from Depp as the central villain is no stranger to the role
Of villains. The ice-cold chill of Casino Royale and his single tear sneer In the role of Hannibal Lecter, Mads Mikkelsen stepped in and now has finished shooting. There are still questions about how the switch will work in the movie. Will he become Mads? Would Grindelwald just be Mads as usual?

Okay. Mikkelsen revealed that the villain would not appear as much in the movie while pressing the script. The filming is done. Obviously, I was only a part of it for half the time the others were. It was a wonderful experience. I think the script is great; it’s a great story. If that’s anything to go by, I think the film will be magical, with all the wonderful creatures, and beautiful as well. There are some heartbreaking stories in there, and hopefully that’s what comes across.”.

Due to the fact that it’s the next film, it’s a more direct comparison. Consequently, we have constructed a few bridges that will allow us to recognize it, but we have also decided to make it our own. Johnny Depp has been a favorite of mine since I first saw him as a young man, and I would never try to emulate his intensity or way of doing things in my work. “I have to find my own path, since he is unique, and I just have to let him be, and find a different path”.

Maybe Mads will be the key ingredient.
